Three rules that apply to every version

• Same shape, clear line. Four different candles quickly look haphazard. One shape in a row or square looks calm – even with different heights.
• Fireproof base. Ceramic, stone, glass, or metal. No wooden board without a plate, no tablecloth directly under the candle.
• Distance. About ten centimeters between the candles so they don't melt each other. Dry decorations – pinecones, cinnamon, oranges, branches – should stay out of reach of the flame.

Must an Advent wreath be round?

Which candles are suitable for an Advent wreath without a wreath?

How long does an Advent wreath made of pine greenery last?

In a heated home, fresh pine greenery usually starts to dry out after two to three weeks. From then on, the fire risk increases significantly. Versions without greenery, like ideas 1, 2, 5, and 6, do not have this problem.
