Due to their shape, these candles are intended primarily for decoration and may drip when burning. Please observe our safety instructions.

All our candles are handmade. Therefore, minor imperfections such as air bubbles may occur.

Olive wax is a softer wax. Therefore, there is a possibility that the candles may drip.

Application

Before burning

  • Use your candle only on a flat, heat-resistant surface suitable for candles (e.g., ceramic, glass, or stone). The surface should be large enough to catch any wax that might drip down. You can also find suitable containers in our shop.
  • Trim the wick to 5-7mm before each lighting, and remove any wick and match residue from the candle before lighting.
    Remove dust and other debris, trim the edges of the candle to 2cm.

During the burning

  • Don't place your candle in a draft.
  • Do not let your candle burn for more than 3-4 hours.
  • Do not touch your candle while it is burning or the wax is still liquid.
  • If the flame becomes too large, extinguish the candle and trim the wick.
  • If the wick is no longer in the middle while burning, you can straighten it again so that the candle does not burn unevenly.

After burning

  • Never extinguish the flame with water or any other liquid.
  • After extinguishing your candle, ventilate the room thoroughly.

Safety instructions

  • Do not burn candles on or near easily flammable objects.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Do not burn candles within reach of children and pets.
  • Leave at least 10cm between the candles.
  • Remove packaging before use.
