What type of wax are Olfair taper candles made of?

Our taper candles are hand-poured from 100% natural olive wax – vegan, paraffin and palm oil free.

Why olive wax instead of paraffin or soy wax?

Olive wax is a sustainable by-product, burns particularly cleanly, produces less soot and ensures a calm, even flame.

How long do Olfair taper candles burn?

Depending on the model, approximately 8–12 hours, with a very stable, steady flame.

Are the candles vegan?

Yes, all Olfair candles are completely vegan and contain no animal-derived ingredients.

Where are the candles made?

Made by hand in our studio in Zurich.
